Wedding flowers are a key component to making your big day special. From carrying a bouquet down the aisle or wearing a floral crown to decorating your ceremony space with stunning arrangements or garlands, there are so many ways that carefully chosen florals play a role in setting the tone for your wedding. But what’s the best way to find the right fit for your needs?

Of course, working with a florist is a great choice for bespoke designs. But if you’re looking for an option that may be simpler and more affordable, a grocery store can be the right fit. And if you’re a big fan of Publix (a cult favorite in the southeastern U.S.), you’ll be thrilled to learn that you can order a variety of wedding essentials from your local store, including wedding cakes and wedding flowers.

Below, learn everything you need to know about Publix wedding flowers to help you discern if this grocery store option is right for your big day.

Publix Wedding Floral Collections

Publix offers wedding flowers in 10 different design collections to match a variety of seasons and themes. These include color palettes to fit just about any wedding aesthetic.

You can choose from classic white and green with the store’s Pearl Perfect collection, or look to a pastel pink palette with the Brushing Bride collection utilizing plenty of light pink and white roses and carnations paired with greenery. A more vibrant, bold option such as Amber Romance utilizes sunflowers, roses, and greenery to make a statement, while Velvet Dream blends deep pink-red tones with peach.

Once you make a selection from the various collections, you can choose the package to match that best fits your needs.

Publix Wedding Flower Packages

Once you’ve chosen the wedding collection that best matches your aesthetic, there are a variety of package options to fit your ceremony, reception, or both. You can keep things simple by ordering just a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, or you can opt for the full package that includes a bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, a flower girl bouquet, and a flower crown.

Décor elements such as aisle markers and centerpieces are available to match the chosen collection as well. Plus, you can add on the option of DIY garlands or flower arch décor too.

Cost of Publix Wedding Flowers

Publix offers a wide variety of wedding floral options to find the package that best suits your needs. With such variation, the pricing has a wide range. If you only need a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, the cost is significantly less than if you’re hoping to order a full package including bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. The largest package is approximately $1100.

Publix has the option to add on additional bouquets and corsages, along with centerpieces and more. An add-on of four centerpieces is approximately $600.

How to Order Publix Wedding Flowers

While Publix stores haven’t made it to the West Coast, there are plenty of locations to check out on the East Coast. If you live (or are getting married!) in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia, you can find floral services at your nearest store.

Orders are available from your local store for pick up. We recommend delegating someone to bring everything to your venue! To order, you can call Publix’s catering department or send a message through the store’s website.

To be sure your local store can tackle your wedding flowers, be sure to place your order with plenty of time to spare. Publix requires that all wedding flower orders are placed at least 22 days in advance of the date you need your bouquets and arrangements.
